The plans with blue text are available for all supply sequences.
The plans in plain black text are only available for the historical supply sequence selection.
On this page, you can look at the Lake Ontario water levels and Moses Saunders dam releases that will occur as a result of each individual regulation plan. The results are based on the selected 101-year water supply sequence. Each point on the graph represents the Lake Ontario level (x axis) and the Release at the Moses Saunders dam (Y axis) for a particular quarter month. The points are colour coded by season (see legend). To get started, select a 101-year water supply sequence from the drop down menu along with a candidate plan or a reference and interest specific plan. Then click "View Graph Now!". The results of Plan 1958DD, the baseline plan, are always presented for comparison purposes.
Note: Water levels are referenced to International Great Lakes Datum of 1985 in metres and feet. Releases are plotted in 10 Cubic Metres per Second or 10,000 Cubic Feet per Second (For example: 7290 m3/s is reported as 729 * 10 m3/s and 270,000 ft3/s is reported as 27 * 10,000ft3/s).
